Certificate In Business English (E-Learning)
Programme Introduction
This programme adopts the Pearson Roadmap English books and syllabus which provides an updated, structured and progressive learning path, facilitating efficient skill development. The programme also programme conforms to Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for English language proficiency.

Programme Objective
- To attain a good command of the English language and build a strong foundation in the 4 area of language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing);
- To equip students with linguistic competence to progress toward their degree courses;
- To reinforce English grammar rules;
- To build an extensive vocabulary bank covering both social and business terminology;
- To empower students in understanding general business concepts used in defferent contexts;
- To build confidence in public speaking skills;
- To equip students with the ability to engage in conversations, discussions, arguments and expression of opinions;
- To enhance students’ writing skills by learning strategies on how to write summaries and reports;
- To gain mastery of English as an effective tool for the purposes of communication in social and business situations.

1:300 (Blended-mode lecture)
1:50 (Workgroup session)
There are 4 assessments for each level at 25% weighting each, adding up to a summative score of 100% by the end of the course.
Components being assessed are: Reading, Writing and Individual Presentation.
Graduation Requirement
• Must passed all modules
• Must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student) and 75% (Local Student)
• English (Intermediate Level) - 3 months
