Programme Introduction

This programme is designed to prepare intemational students not only for entry into universities but also to ensure that students can cope with the rigour of a university degree programme. This is a pre-pathway programme that can help students build a solid business management foundation in their knowledge and skills, which is needed to qualify for further study. It also offer students the opportunity to take on other EAIM courses. This programme consists of a three-term course that provides an intensive, fast-track route to a university degree placement.

Programme Objective

The programme aims to provide learners with:

a sound foundation and understanding of basic economic theories and concepts;
an understanding of he concepts, processes, and functions of management;
an understanding of the basic principles and pradice of accounting;
developing basic skills to analyse real world business issues and entrepreneurship;
enhancing students' capability in analytical and critical thinking;

Students will understand the basics of principles and practices of Accounting

2. Introduction to Management (Core)

3. Introduction to Econnomics (Core)

4. Business Mathematics (Core)

5. Study Skills (Core)

6. ETEDP Business English* ( Elective)

7. Business Studies (Elective)

8. Chinese Language (Elective)

9. Computer Science (Elective)

Assessment

Each online module is been assessed by academic work comprising assignments (online) and examination (online) as determined by the subject profile. The assessment criterion varies from module to module and level to level. There will also be assessment on online presentation

Graduation Requirement

• Must passed all modules

• Must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student)

Academic Minimum Entry Requirement:

Completed Year 9 ( Middle School) or completed 9 years of formal education in Chinese

English Language Minimum Entry Requirement:
A Pass in Chinese Language at the Middle School level (Year 9)
