EAIM Welcomes University of Wolverhampton Leadership to New Venture Campus in Strengthened Transnational Education Partnership

On 4 December 2025, EAIM had the honour of hosting a distinguished delegation from the University of Wolverhampton, led by Ms. Angela Spence, Chair of the Board of Governors, along with Dr. Robin Carey, Director of International Partnerships, Global Opportunities Office. The visit took place at EAIM’s newly opened Venture Campus at 1 Venture Avenue, #02-06 Perennial Business City — marking an important milestone in the deepening academic collaboration between the two institutions.

Strengthening the Global Education Partnership

The University of Wolverhampton, known widely as “the University of Opportunity,” has long been recognised for its commitment to quality assurance, research excellence, graduate employability and student satisfaction. (University of Wolverhampton)

Through its Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships, the university offers students the opportunity to obtain UK-awarded degrees by studying locally at partner institutions — combining global standards with local accessibility. (University of Wolverhampton)

Since July 2024, EAIM and the University of Wolverhampton have been official partners. (University of Wolverhampton) The collaboration makes a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes available to students studying in Singapore — from Business and Finance to Computing, Psychology, Cybersecurity, AI, Data Science, Hospitality and more.

By welcoming Ms. Spence and Dr. Carey to its Venture Campus, EAIM underscores its ongoing commitment to providing education with a global perspective — preparing students not only for local success, but for international careers.

A Shared Vision — Merging Global Standards with Local Strengths

During the visit, both parties reaffirmed a shared vision: to combine EAIM’s holistic education approach with Wolverhampton’s academic rigour and global reputation. EAIM’s holistic framework emphasises four core pillars: industry-relevant curriculum, practical application, personal enrichment and career development.

By aligning with this vision, the University of Wolverhampton brings decades of experience and offers globally recognised degrees, while EAIM provides a vibrant, accessible campus in Singapore — giving students the best of both worlds. As noted in prior coverage, this partnership opens up “opportunities across local and global communities.”

Inspiring Address by Ms. Angela Spence — A Personal Journey Shared with EAIM Students

A highlight of the visit was the heartfelt address delivered by Ms. Angela Spence to a class of International Master of Business Administration (delivered by EAIM, awarded by University of Wolverhampton) students. Speaking not only as Chair of the Board of Governors but also as a proud alumna of the University of Wolverhampton, Ms. Spence shared her personal journey — from her formative years as a student to her accomplished career in international education.

She spoke passionately about her love for working with people and her long-standing dedication to supporting learners from all walks of life. Drawing from her own professional journey, Ms. Spence encouraged students to dream big, work tirelessly toward their goals, and remain resilient in the face of challenges. She emphasised that opportunities often arise for those who stay committed, stay curious, and embrace continuous learning.

Her message resonated deeply with EAIM students, adding a personal and motivational dimension to the visit. It also reinforced the shared values between EAIM and the University of Wolverhampton—values rooted in opportunity, determination, and the development of confident, career-ready graduates.

Looking Ahead: Opportunities for Students and Faculty

The presence of new leadership from Wolverhampton — alongside EAIM’s existing management and faculty — signals possibilities for further growth: expanded course offerings, potential for faculty and student exchange, deeper academic support, and perhaps joint research or industry-link initiatives.

For students who aspire to earn a UK degree while studying in Singapore, this enhanced partnership makes that pathway more accessible than ever. The combined strengths of EAIM’s infrastructure and Wolverhampton’s academic excellence can open doors to careers spanning across borders.

A Warm Welcome to Our Guests and Commitment to the Future

EAIM extends its heartfelt welcome to Ms. Angela Spence and Dr. Robin Carey. Their visit is more than a formal gesture — it is a reaffirmation of the institutions’ shared commitment to nurturing global citizens, bridging educational opportunities across continents, and delivering a university experience that is both internationally recognised and locally relevant.

As the partnership matures and the new Venture Campus becomes fully operational, EAIM and the University of Wolverhampton look forward to delivering on the promise of global education made accessible for students in Singapore and beyond.
