Modules

This unit provides an advanced understanding of various change management models within a sustainability framework. The unit takes a critical approach to the drivers of organizational change and the process for managing change while ensuring business sustainability.

This module is designed to introduce the student to the theory and issues involved in counselling. Various models of counselling and behaviour change that constitute the field of counselling psychology will be examined along with an introduction to the major theories and their related techniques and interventions. There will be emphasis on the theoretical orientations such as the four paradigms of therapeutic psychology, namely behavioural, cognitive, cognitive behavioural and humanistic.

This module provides an in-depth exploration of advanced marketing strategies and principles. Students will explore into key areas such as strategic marketing planning, market segmentation, targeting, and positioning. The curriculum emphasizes the application of advanced marketing analytics and research methods to make informed business decisions. Additionally, the module covers contemporary topics in brand management, and customer relationship management. The integration of industry trends and emerging technologies ensures that students are well-equipped to navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of modern marketing.

This module provides students an opportunity to explore the comprehension of human growth and learning in educational environments. This module includes a variety of learning methods as well as cognitive, social, and emotional development. In order to promote students’ academic and socio-emotional development, the module also covers assessment techniques, recognizing learning problems, and putting solutions into practice. This fosters an atmosphere that maximizes learning outcomes for all learners.

This module is designed to cover the main theoretical approaches to the study of individual differences and to critically examine research findings in this area. The focus of the course is on developing an integrated picture of the whole person through understanding of the major facets of personality and how these work together to shape behaviour. Students will also explore the extent to which personality is the outcome of uniquely personal inner dynamics, the extent to which individuals reflect family, social, cultural and technological influences.

In this unit students will develop their ability to understand and analyses operational problems and propose solutions. This requires a thorough understanding of both operations management principles and techniques and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice. Students will learn about operations functions in manufacturing and service organizations, planning and control of operations processes and design application of key quantitative and qualitative methodologies and techniques and strategies to improve organizational performance in a globalized environment.

This module provides a comprehensive exploration of adopting innovation within organizations. Students gain expertise in formulating innovative strategies aligned with organizational goals, fostering creative thinking, and generating ideas. The curriculum explores into the impact of emerging technologies on innovation, emphasizing risk management, implementation, and scaling of innovative solutions. The module also addresses the critical aspect of creating an organizational culture conducive to innovation, covering leadership strategies and communication.

This module keeps the students up to date with the current developments of applied psychology. Topics include the diverse fields of child and family development, the psychology of well- being, addiction behaviors and the various emerging fields of psychology in our time.

Assessment

Each module is assessed by academic work comprising written assignments, case study reports, essays, examination as determined by the subject profile. The assessment criterion varies from module to module and level to level.

Graduation Requirement

• Must passed all modules.
• Must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student) and 75% (Local Student).

Academic Minimum Entry Requirement

  • EAIM Diploma in relevant field of study, or
  • Polytechnic Diploma in relevant field, or
  • BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in relevant field of study, or
  • Other qualifications or professional qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Mature Candidate who is at least 30 years old with at least 8 years of working experience.

English Language Minimum Entry Requirement
  • EAIM Certificate in Business English (Advanced), or
  • IELTS 5.5, or
  • O-Level C6 English or equivalent, or
  • Minimum score of 85 in Duolingo English Test, or
  • Other equivalent English qualifications
