Advanced Diploma in Applied Psychology
Programme Introduction
The Advanced Diploma in Applied Psychology offers a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum encompassing modules in Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Personality and Individual Differences, Research and Statistics, Social Psychology, Volunteering and Community Service, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Contemporary Issues in Psychology. This program provides a deep understanding of the multifaceted field of psychology, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to apply psychological principles in various real-world contexts.
Programme Objective
This program aims to provide students with a deep and practical understanding of applied psychology through a diverse range of modules. They will gain insights into cognitive processes, human development, personality dynamics, and the intricacies of social interactions. Additionally, students will develop proficiency in conducting empirical research and interpreting statistical data, enabling them to apply evidence-based approaches in various psychological contexts. Through hands-on experiences in volunteering and community service, students will have the opportunity to apply psychological principles in real-world settings, fostering a sense of social responsibility and ethical practice. This program ultimately prepares graduates to contribute meaningfully to the field of applied psychology and address contemporary issues with informed evidence-based solutions.
Modules
This module will provide the students with a thorough understanding of mental processes. Theories and current researches of cognitive science will be presented to the students for their deeper understanding of human behaviour and future application to research and experimentations.

Each module is assessed by academic work comprising written assignments, case study reports, essays, examination as determined by the subject profile. The assessment criterion varies from module to module and level to level.
Graduation Requirement
• Must passed all modules
• Must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student) and 75% (Local Student)
Minimum Age Requirement: 17 years (at the time of application)
• Relevant EAIM Diploma OR
Minimum EAIM ETEDP Level 2 (5.5), IELTS 5.5, GCE O-Level C6 or equivalent
