Programme Introduction

EAIM Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management is intended to provide holistic general management training for working adults and senior executives. The focus of EAIM Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management programme is to equip the students with advanced knowledge of Business Management & Corporate World, and also to shape their personalities through rigorous training on improving Communication, Presentation & IT skills.

Programme Objective

Learning Objectives:

On successful completion of this course, students will acquire knowledge in:

  • Using various tools from accounting and finance which would facilitate decision making.
  • Analytical abilities to face the business situations.
  • Applying different evaluation techniques for projects and valuation of different assets.
  • Creating equity financial model for any company on their own based on the learning’s in the course and followed by an equity research report.
  • Creating feasibility study for a CAPEX project or analyze a potential merger transaction.
  • Analysing suitability of financial products to match the investment objectives.
  • Identifying and analysing the financial risk industry risk, business risk, and management risk associated with borrower/proposal and present recommendations through credit report.
  • Developing financial model for credit assessment and perform primary credit analysis based on the publicly available information.

Modules

1. Managerial Accounting

This module develops an understanding of how managerial accounting adds values to organisations' strategic and operational decision making processes. Emphasis will be directed towards developing the skills required in the managerial planning, control and decision making processes. This unit also strives to develop key skills including ability to identify relevant financial and non-financial information, problem solving, critical thinking, data analysis, written and oral communication, collaboration and team work skills. All of these skills are desirable for accounting professionals working in both domestic and international companies in the private and public sectors.
